Why I built this
The dates that matter most are the ones we can't revisit. A birthday, an anniversary, the day someone arrived — they happen once, and all we usually keep is a photo.
I wanted more than a photo. I wanted the whole day: the headlines on the doorstep that morning, the song on every radio, what a movie ticket cost. So I built DateCapsule to bring a date back — researched from real archives, checked fact by fact, and bound into a book you can put in someone's hands.
I hope one of them ends up on a nightstand, opened more than once.
