Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Time Capsule, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Use of the Service

Time Capsule is a personal creative tool. You may use it to generate time capsules, birthday books, video reels, and printed posters for personal, non-commercial purposes. You are responsible for any content you upload or generate through the service.

You agree not to:

• Use the service to generate content that is unlawful, harmful, or harassing
• Upload content you do not have the right to use
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service
• Use automated means to create accounts or make purchases

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Payments & Refunds

Purchases are processed by Stripe. Prices are charged in US dollars at the time of purchase: Time Capsule ($0.99), Birthday Book ($4.99), Video Reel ($4.99). Poster pricing varies by product. Scheduled letter deliveries are free.

Because our products are AI-generated immediately upon purchase, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds except where required by applicable law or in cases of a documented technical failure on our end. If you believe you are owed a refund, contact us within 7 days of purchase.

Account balances are non-transferable and have no cash value.

AI-Generated Content

Time Capsule uses AI models — including those from Anthropic, OpenAI, and fal.ai — to generate text, narration, and images. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or fabrications. We do not guarantee the historical accuracy, completeness, or factual correctness of any generated content.

Generated content is intended for personal, sentimental use — not as a factual historical record. Please verify any important facts independently before relying on them.

Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of any photos and personal content you upload. Content generated by the service — time capsules, birthday books, video reels, and posters — is licensed to you for personal use. You may share, print, and display your generated content freely.

You may not resell or sublicense generated content as a standalone product or template. The Time Capsule name, brand, and underlying software remain our property.

Scheduled Letters

When you schedule a letter delivery, you are providing a third party's email address and consenting to send them an email on a future date. You represent that you have the recipient's permission to contact them in this way. We are not responsible for email delivery failures outside our control, including spam filtering or invalid addresses.

Limitation of Liability

Time Capsule is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including lost data, inaccurate content, or failed deliveries.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 90 days preceding the claim.
